Karstic Chalets S.R.L (hereinafter referred to as "Karstic Chalets"), a Romanian company with a registered office in Municipiul Cluj Napoca, strada Garii, nr: 21A, bl: 2J, sc:B, Etaj: E, ap.2B.601, judet Cluj, is registered in the trade register under no. J2023001504124 and has CUI: 47924016.

By using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

The person making and responsible for a booking must be at least 18 years old. Guests under 18 may stay when accompanied by the adult responsible for the booking.

To book a chalet, complete the booking form. Before you confirm, we show the selected dates, included services, total price, and applicable fees. Payments are processed through Stripe and invoicing is handled by factureaza.ro.

The person who creates the booking is the booking holder and the main contact responsible for the reservation and guest communication.

The final approach includes around 300 metres of unpaved road with a short incline. Parking is available at the property. Winter access can be difficult in snow; a 4x4 may be recommended, so contact us before arrival if you need guidance.

Karstic Chalets may refuse or cancel a booking only for objective reasons, including payment failure, incorrect booking data, force majeure, or breach of these Terms.

• Check-in is from 15:30 and check-out is by 11:00. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request. The chalet uses self check-in: access details and the lockbox code are provided before arrival, and keys should be returned to the same lockbox at check-out.
• Please review the chalet details, facilities, access conditions, and maximum capacity before booking so you can choose the stay that fits your group.
• Guests must respect the maximum allowed capacity of the properties. Disregarding this may result in penalties.
• On check-out, guests must leave the properties in a neat and tidy manner, return all items to their original spot, turn off lights, turn off heating/cooling, and close the doors.
• Smoking is prohibited inside the properties. You may smoke outside, but it is mandatory to safely throw the cigarette butts in the indicated spot.
• No pets are allowed. We love animals but not inside the properties.
• Guests are responsible for any damage to the cabin during their stay.
• Karstic Chalets will provide the guests wood for the strict purpose of heating the cabin and barbeque, the amount of wood being sufficient for each individual reservation. If the wood is not enough, the group representative can ask the owner to supplement the wood.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Stripe's terms and privacy information are available on their website.

Invoices are issued through Factureaza.ro in accordance with the applicable invoicing process.

The full reservation amount is charged to the customer's credit or debit card when the booking is confirmed.

We do not work directly with vacation-voucher providers. Guests who want to use vacation vouchers can contact us and we can help identify a travel agency that collaborates with Karstic.

Booked within 30 days of arrival? You may cancel free of charge within 48 hours of booking. After that, the timeline above applies.

• You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 30 days before the check-in date. For accommodation services booked for a specific date or period, the statutory withdrawal right may not apply under applicable law.
• For bookings made less than 30 days before check-in, you may cancel without a cancellation fee within 48 hours of making the booking. After that period, the refund depends on how close the cancellation is to check-in.
• If the cancellation is made between 30 and 14 days before check-in, 50% of the reservation amount is refundable.
• If the cancellation is made less than 14 days before check-in, the reservation amount is non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
• For holiday periods (Christmas, New Year), cancellations are free only up to 30 days before check-in. After that period, no cancellations or refunds are accepted.

For eligible cancellations under our cancellation policy, we initiate refunds within 5 to 14 days of the cancellation date. Your card issuer may take approximately 5 to 10 business days to show the credit.

For voluntary cancellations, we may deduct the non-refundable Stripe processing fee actually charged for the original payment. Any deduction will not exceed that fee and does not apply where we cancel the booking, fail to provide the stay, or the law requires a full refund. The applicable fees are:

• 1.5% + 1 RON for standard European Economic Area cards
• Premium European Economic Area cards: 1.9% + 1 RON for payments processed before 21 October 2026; 2.8% + 1 RON for payments processed on or after that date.
• 2.5% + 1 RON and 2% currency conversion for UK cards
• International cards: 3.25% + 1 RON for payments processed before 21 October 2026; 3.15% + 1 RON for payments processed on or after that date.

These provisions apply to use of our website and booking system.
